ARS UV-34 pruning saw
ARS UV-34 pruning saw – 340 mm blade, 135 mm cutting capacity
Hand saw and pole saw in one
The UV-34 is the smallest of the pole-mountable range: its 340 mm blade cuts up to 135 mm, and at 390 grams it is the easiest to handle overhead. The tool is a complete hand saw on its own, but it also fits any ARS EXP telescopic pole, which does away with the ladder for high branches.
Super TURBOCUT teeth
Super TURBOCUT is the more advanced ARS tooth geometry: it meets less resistance in living wood, and the chip-clearing slots along the blade keep the kerf clean as you work. This matters most on thicker branches, where trapped sawdust slows you down. The tooth pitch is 4.0 mm and the tooth gauge 1.5 mm. The blade is electroless nickel-plated to protect against corrosion.
The pole-mountable models
Three blade sizes are available, all compatible with the same telescopic poles.
| Model | Blade length | Cutting capacity | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| UV-34 (this product) | 340 mm | 135 mm | 390 g |
| UV-40 | 400 mm | 160 mm | 520 g |
| UV-47 | 470 mm | 185 mm | 500 g |
Telescopic poles
The length of the pole determines the height you can reach. Three lengths are available, all carrying the KWF Profi quality mark.
| Telescopic pole | Collapsed | Extended | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| EXP-3.3 | 1.41 m | 3.29 m | 1530 g |
| EXP-4.5 | 1.84 m | 4.56 m | 1720 g |
| EXP-5.5 | 2.18 m | 5.61 m | 2100 g |
Ready-assembled combinations are also available: UV-34 + EXP-3.3, UV-34 + EXP-4.5 and UV-34 + EXP-5.5.
Blade replacement
The saw blade is available separately as the UV-34-1. Since the teeth are impulse-hardened and cannot be re-sharpened, replacing the blade is the right answer when it wears. Resin comes off with the ARS GO-1 blade cleaner.

Chemical Nickel Coating
Chemically nickel-plated surfaces provide outstanding protection against corrosion and wear. The smooth coating prevents dirt build-up and makes cleaning easier, significantly extending the tool's lifespan even with regular outdoor use.
Super Turbocut Tooth Pattern
The Super Turbocut's advanced, razor-sharp tooth design guarantees outstanding cutting speed and a clean finish. Ideal for professional pruning where efficiency is key. Special gullets between the teeth effectively clear away sawdust, preventing the blade from jamming and ensuring smooth, unobstructed cutting with minimal resistance.
Tooth Pitch – 4.0 mm
The 4.0 mm tooth pitch creates a perfect balance between cutting speed and control. Excellent for both medium-thickness hardwood and softwood. This versatile tooth pattern guarantees a smooth, clean cut, making it ideal for professional pruning and heavy-duty use.
Blade Thickness – 1.5 mm
The 1.5 mm blade thickness offers the highest level of balance between stability and cutting comfort. Optimized primarily for medium-length saw blades, it delivers stable movement, low resistance and extremely precise cutting across the widest range of pruning tasks.
