Two grits, two stages
The coarse 360 grit side restores a worn or damaged edge, while the fine 600 grit side finishes and polishes it. This two-stage sequence is what gets you close to a factory edge: the coarse side rebuilds the geometry, the fine side smooths it.
Diamond, not a conventional stone
Electroplated diamond grit on a stainless steel base. Its advantage over traditional sharpening stones is that it does not wear unevenly, needs no water or oil, and bites into the hard chrome-plated ARS blades that a softer stone would simply slide over.
