ARS UV-32E pruning saw
ARS UV-32E pruning saw – 320 mm blade, 125 mm cutting capacity
High-capacity hand saw with holster
The 320 mm blade of the UV-32E cuts up to 125 mm, and the package includes a holster. The impulse-hardened Super TURBOCUT teeth give long edge life even under intensive professional use.
Teeth and cutting action
Super TURBOCUT is the more advanced ARS tooth geometry: it meets less resistance in living wood, and the chip-clearing slots along the blade keep the kerf clean as you work. This matters most on thicker branches, where trapped sawdust slows you down. The teeth are impulse-hardened, which extends edge life several times over conventional hardening. The trade-off is that impulse-hardened teeth cannot be re-sharpened, so a worn blade is replaced rather than filed. The tooth pitch is 4.0 mm and the tooth gauge 1.2 mm.
Choosing a size

Blade replacement and care
The saw blade is a wearing part and is available separately: the UV-32E-1 saw blade fits this model. Because the teeth are impulse-hardened they cannot be re-sharpened, so replacing the blade is the sensible option. Resin on the blade comes off with the ARS GO-1 blade cleaner, and the ARS 9F-10 file is for saws whose teeth are not impulse-hardened.

Frequently asked questions
How thick a branch will the ARS UV-32E cut?
Up to 125 mm in diameter according to the manufacturer.
Why do ARS saws cut on the pull stroke?
Japanese saws cut as you pull. This takes less effort than a push-cutting European saw and gives better control over the direction of the cut, because the blade does not buckle.
Can the saw blade be replaced?
Yes, the blade is available separately. You will find the right type in the blades and saw blades category.
Can this saw be sharpened?
No. The teeth are impulse-hardened, which keeps them sharp far longer but rules out re-sharpening. When they wear, the blade is replaced.
The ARS UV-32E pruning saw cuts branches up to 125 mm with its 320 mm blade, in hard chrome-plated Japanese steel with Super TURBOCUT teeth. Overall length 500 mm, weight 420 grams. The saw blade is replaceable. For more models see the ARS curved pruning saws.
High Carbon Steel
Carbon steel is sharp, wear-resistant and easy to sharpen. It offers great precision and durability, ideal for professional pruning. Regular maintenance greatly extends its lifespan.
Hard Chrome Coating
Hard chrome-plated blades offer extra protection against rust and wear. The smooth surface resists plant sap and retains its sharpness for longer. Designed for heavy-duty use.
Super Turbocut Tooth Pattern
The Super Turbocut's advanced, razor-sharp tooth design guarantees outstanding cutting speed and a clean finish. Ideal for professional pruning where efficiency is key. Special gullets between the teeth effectively clear away sawdust, preventing the blade from jamming and ensuring smooth, unobstructed cutting with minimal resistance.
Impulse-Hardened Blade
Impulse-hardened blades and teeth are extremely hard and wear-resistant thanks to a special heat treatment. They retain their sharpness for an exceptionally long time and require minimal maintenance. An ideal choice for professional pruning and sawing work.
Tooth Pitch – 4.0 mm
The 4.0 mm tooth pitch creates a perfect balance between cutting speed and control. Excellent for both medium-thickness hardwood and softwood. This versatile tooth pattern guarantees a smooth, clean cut, making it ideal for professional pruning and heavy-duty use.
Blade Thickness – 1.2 mm
The 1.2 mm blade thickness enables stable cutting with minimal resistance and high precision. This size is typically found on shorter-bladed saws, making it an ideal choice for fine, highly precise pruning tasks.
For All Hand Sizes
A universal design that fits all hand sizes excellently. An ideal choice for shared family use or professional work. Perfect weight distribution and a stable grip provide maximum comfort even during long-term, heavy-duty use.
